When in doubt do you do without???

Are you the never mind type. When in doubt do you find it easier to say forget it, or do you really think about it. If you are selecting a pair of shoes and are not sure if it is the right color, you have doubt, do you override the doubt, and say they'll be okay, or would you put them back and not buy them. Are you always at least 90% sure of your decisions, or after making a decision, you contemplate whether or not you did the correct thing?
Just wondering how people handle doubtful situations.

It depends on what I'm making a decison about. Some things I need to be 100% sure about and some things I'll go with the flow. As far as me purchasing a pair of shoes that I think may or may not go with an outfit that I have at home, if I like them I'll buy them. They may not end up matching what I wanted them to but that just gives me an excuse to buy another outfit. :-) The only time the "in doubt do without" works for me is if I think my clothes are a too short or tight.

Depends on the item. If is food or soemthing I know I will eventually need/use, I will buy. But like you said, shoes - no they have to be 100% what I want or I dont' buy. I am to frugal for that. Clothes, no, it has to be right or I know I will look dumpy in it and won't wear it so why buy it? Look dumpy in what I have and save the money for that one thing that I will look nice in and make sure I have enought money to buy it when I find it!

Yeah, it is best to know what you want and need, rather than ponder over something and make the wrong decision and do not use it.

In the case of shoes or clothing, I make sure I can return them if they're not right for some reason. I don't like spending money on things I won't wear. As for other things, big decisions, I have to say they're usually "go with the instinct, spur of the moment" type things. If I have to make a big decision I know if I ponder and labor over it I will reach the point where indecision becomes decision and I won't like the outcome, so I jump in head first. Sometimes I wonder for a while if I did the right thing, if I should have thought it through a little more, but as time goes on I usually know my first impulse was right.

I'm doing good thank you. Skipping around here and there. I can't stay on the computer for very long at a time just yet after the laser treatments for glaucoma, but I'm getting better. Maybe I'll be around more from now on. Not as much yard work now either.

You are correct, the more you ponder over something the more indecisive you become.
How have you been. Haven't seen you around in awhile.
Hope all is well.
