Um wow?! Almost 3k page views on Associated Content!

I'm impressed! I haven't written many articles recently on Associated Content and I haven't checked my page views lately either. I wasn't expecting any performance payments but I check my email and lo and behold I had 4 emails saying I was paid this or that! I'm sneaking up on 3000 too, and I think that pay was actually for 2000. I can't believe it! I never thought I'd get even this many page views! Well, I don't really think my articles are anything to brag about, but if anyone wants to check them out, the link is:

If you like the stuff, subscribe if you like. I only post if I really think I have something to say but I try to keep it updated. I am sure there are plenty of other AC users on here. How many PVs do you have, how long have you been writing on the site, and if you want to post your profile link, feel free. I don't even remember how long I've been on, lol would have to check the date of my first article.

Can you tell me what Associated content is all about? I really don't want to join another site unless I know something about it and I'd rather hear from someone who has been there instead of reading all the legal stuff.

Yes, if your writing is unique or on a popular topic, you are more likely to be paid. I am visually impaired and a couple of the articles I have been paid for are based on my experiences with accessibility and such. You can also claim what they call calls for content, where their partners want a specific type of material and they have a preset price they will pay or performance only, as well as rights and such. Those are good to do if you know the material as they give set amounts if approved and since they are requested, they can bring you in more views. I don't write on it a lot because I usually don't have much to write about and the majority of my articles are performance only, but I have about 4 that were upfront, one of them from a call, that got me $250, and other 3 around $4. It's nice for something to do in spare time and if you feel inspired and a great way to get your stuff out there. Wow!! thats amazing! I have been trying my hands in writing at AC too. I guess I am too mush of an amateur lol ! Anyway I am going to keep my writing.Awww I cant put up my link here !
