Pilotless Aircraft?

Have you heard that an aircraft can fly even with the pilot on the ground? Thousands and thousands of aircraft fly around the world in a day carrying two or three pilots. An aircraft carries up to hundred of passengers per flight. But with the aid of technology, an aircraft can fly even without the pilot on board. My question is, if you are the passenger would you travel in an aircraft without a pilot on board?
