hi mylotters are you as tired as I am of this USA political folderol? I was gungho at first but after hearing all the mud slinging going on by both parties, I have become deaf, dumb, and blind to all the garbage from both side. How about you?

I'm definitely tired of it and wasn't so gung ho to begin with for this very reason. Every four years the public are beaten over the head with the political stick for over a year, while all the candidates try their best to outdo the others and come out on top. I wish there was a better way but, unfortunately, there's not.

I think its funny to hear what they say, its like kids on a playground. "Am not, are too!" I've been compiling quotes from both sides and I'll have to give Snobama the upper hand, he doesn't have any experience so he can't attack John Mc so he just calls names, sometimes those are pretty funny. Its coming down to the wire so just hang on a few months and it will all be over with unless the dumocrats loose and then we'll have to hear about for four more years.

I am also up there in years (my profile age is not my true age) but that is about the only area where we are the same. I am not a wimp or too thin skinned not to stand up for what I believe in. If asked who I will vote for ...just reading my postings makes it very clear.... I shout it loud and clear no whispers for me.

I forgot to ask you if your truly felt by "whispering" who you would vote for you would actually be putting yourself in "danger"?? From what? on a website? Do you think some one is going to track you down and harm you...? Ha ha ha!

hi whitefeather yes thats what i did say and its hatley okay. this is just my rant really, I am not about to put myself in danger with even whispering whom I intend to vote for.I have'sworn off all confrontational issues as its not worth it to me, I had my go when I first came on and am just too thin skinned. lol.

I prefer to say I'm not blind or deaf, but I try to stay immune from it all. I mean come on, this is politics. Politics without bullsh*t isn't politics. Key thing is to remember to be just as smart as those operating within it, for those of us outside it all.

Correct! I thought this problem is only in our Country but I was shocked also that attitude of politicians here are just the same! ANyway, I know voters are smart, the only problem is when we are in a situation of choosing between the two whose difference is just a face and voice! hahahahaha! Anyway, I hope we will have the best of the worst!

Unfortunately, I think history shows that, that makes things worse. Would be nice though, wouldn't it? If only things were that easy.

I was really getting so very sick of hearing all of the BS but after Sarah Palin came on the scene and talked about the oil in Alaska, then I did begin to listen a bit more.. I believe if they do the mud-slinging, then they have nothing good to say for themselves.. If I were running for president, I would tell of all of the good that I had done or would do, and I don't think that I would have time to downgrade the other candidate.. There are no morals nor values anymore, just and "out for myself" attitude..

That's why i only try to watch the political debates or the politicians speak for themselves....or the things they have done while in office. Yes personality does affect some of the decision making on my vote, but I am looking for the facts here and don't jump to conclusions when I hear somehting in the news.. and the answer actually is no I am not tired of hearing it because I do believe the other side is taking it up a notch and doing well with all demographics involved (in other words people who vote just to vote and people who vote for a specific reason.) Hey it would get boring if we didn't have pep rallies right?
