Do you believe in ghosts?

Hmm, yes and no. My concept of "ghost" diverges somewhat from the conventional understanding of the term. As an aspiring scientist, it is my belief that as every living thing is composed of billions of various particles all vibrating at a certain frequency. As such, I feel that all living things have a unique and powerful energy signature. Therefore, in my world view, it is entirely possible when any creature ceases to function it takes some time for the particles that constitute their being to gradually decrease in vibrating at their normal frequency, and for their energy signature to slowly degrade or dissipate, and on certain levels leaving something like an afterimage.

im open to all sorts of things being true. i wouldnt exactly discount the idea of ghosts existing. i mean there are so many things that cant be explained so whos to say that ghosts dont exist.

Yes,ghosts or demons(Jinn in Arabic)are there in this world as a separate creature and the last divine book,the Holy Quran also tells us about this creature.A separate chapter named "Surah Jinn" is there which tells us that how some ghosts/jinns heard the Holy Quran from our Holy Prophet Muhammad(pbuh)and believed in those verses of Holy Quran.We cannot see them and they live in jungles and remote places.Please read what God Almighty says in the Holy Quran: "I HAVE NOT CREATED THE JINN AND MEN EXCEPT FOR THIS THAT THEY SHOULD WORSHIP ME." ..........(Surah Adhariyat-56,57.....Chap 27.....The Quran)..... So there is a clear proof of this creature by God Almighty.

i can't say becoz i have never seen Ghost .....if i see any ghost or spirit then i think!! i can say ...."Yes, i belive in ghosts" if i wont fall down after that..

I'm really not sure if I believe. Like fundamentalcharlie says, Samuel's ghost was raised by the Witch of Endor. Jesus believed in demons. In the Bible it mentions that the disciples saw Jesus walking on water and thought He was a ghost and were terrified. I live in the country and there is a small outbuilding on our property where someone long ago was said to have shot himself. We had a bbq a couple of weeks ago, and a 4-year-old said he saw an old man's face in the window of the building. Nobody ever said anything to him. This was out of a clear blue sky. His dad said he would go look, but the kid wouldn't let him go. Just very strange. After this I told his dad and mom about the guy who shot himself. He was old, with a beard, like the kid described.
