I'm using prepaid since the first time i had my own cellphone and it irritates me whenever i lost my credit in the midst of i need to call someone very important. So i tried to switch for a plan or post paid, but i'm not happy with it becausa im paying more than what i have budgeted for my mobile phone. lol. I cant control myself to use the phone until i receive my billing statement!

Hello there, I prefer to use prepaid. I had tried a few postpaid plans before and was not satisfied with any. I don't understand why I need to pay for the unnecessary stuff which I don't need. I switched to prepaid quite a long time ago. As I don't really use my cell phone to make a call, I think it is better for me to have prepaid rather than postpaid.

I prefer to use prepaid than postpaid. I think using prepaid is more better because we can control the usage. If the credit finish that means we know when to add credit. Using postpaid, the usage cannot be control. Before this, I used postpaid. I cannot control my usage. After I change to prepaid, I can control my cellphone bill. Now my money management is more better and I can save my money in the saving.

We have an excellent family plan with shared minutes for my hubby, my son and me. Between the three of us, we never use our 1500 minutes per month. We can add or subtract services as we choose, without penalty. We also have our DSL and our home phone and long distance with the same company - our local phone company. There are no contracts. I love it!

I tried a prepaid account however I saw that I was spending way to much on it. I used phone service through alltel and got unlimited text for like .10 a day which was very helpful in saving me money. I switched to a plan and it has actually saved me more money. If you are always on the phone and you waste a lot of minutes then this may not be for you, however I used about 100-120 minutes every month and about 200 texts... so its great for me. It only costs me $69 I pay 49.99 plus 20 for unlimited text. I get 700 minutes of talk time which is like 11 hours every month. I don't need that much but its there if I do.

i'd prefer prepaid. With postpaid id be texting a lot without the slightest idea that my bill was so huge but when im using prepaid i can control my phone bills much easier. And besides unlimited texting here in the Philippines has been a craze so i don't really need postpaid. Happy mylotting, cheers!

i have 2 phones,,,one is post paid and the other is prepaid...the things you said are really disadvantages but in regards to post paid,,,i make sure to limit my phone use...i guess it depends on the person....if the person can control using the phone...

Postpaid of course none can bit postpaid . I had a prepaid 8 years ago and i was never happy using it because every now and then i had to load and load and load and i cannot control the amount i have to load ( so i end up loading so much and wasting great amount of money.) But now i use postpaid consumable i can allocate more my load to what i want to do whether calling or texting or browsing so it is more advantageous for me.

I will choose prepaid because we can prevent us from over the limit that we wanted to use. Sometime, when we use post paid we can not predict the amount that we used. At the end of the month, we will get a big shock when the bill ask you to pay for a hundred above. Prepaid sometime is consider better that post paid for your own good. If you are a self control people of course you can use post paid if not choose prepaid.

I am using the mobile from last five years and having post paid plan . i always chose my plan according to my budget . i never like prepaid plan because when the credit is lost i want to call some one very important i feel very helpless so the post paid plan is good enough . it should be used when it is urgent . with post paid plan your talk will never be remain incomplete.

I am currently using a prepaid as my mother would strictly not allowed me to use post paid. She nagged that I am still young and I should not spend time using so much phone. I guessed she was still afraid to pay the bills, looking at those 2-3 digits bill made her sick. She would only allow me to buy a $20 prepaid once a month so she saves a lot. I guessed thats the reason. So budget! But frankly speaking, I thinks that post paid is better. Not worrying about the money that you use, the accessibility is very high. Not lthe limited prepaid cards. I could just call anyone anytime I want without worrying ( haha, not me paying) how much it would cost. But definitely I would not over use tear my mother's pocket- make her broke. Since I am financially tight, I guessed prepaid cards will do a good calling for me. It teaches me how to triple save. Think before using. I would save money plus save the environment :) I think you better try controlling your temptation into using so much in your post paid. Money is considered important to the middle-class people like me. Happy posting.

I prefer prepaid. I don't really use my cellphone that much. And almost all of us here uses prepaid. With a lot of prepaid services to choose from. Like a regular 25-sms load that lasts for 3 days can be turned to 1 whole day of unlimited texting. Or 25 load for 1 whole day of unlimited calls. It's better than having to pay monthly knowing that you really didn't use all that much to pay that kind of amount.

I have always preferred the post paid connection. Simply because one then does not have to worry about having to refill the credit. That i supppose can be quite an experience if one goes through this while travelling or at an odd time when one does not have the means to top up the credit.

I prefer prepaid right now that I'm kid of cost cutting, but I wouldn't want to cancel my post paid plan. It's kind of worth it but there are days that I barely use it at all so I don't really get to consume my 1,200 monthly, but then again I still have to pay 1,200 consumed or not.

I prefer much more on post paid services, it's convenient and use how much you use and the bills will be post it to you, but if you use prepaid and when you had finished using you have to every time buy prepaid cards to top up your cards. But the good things bout having a prepaid phones is that it ca limit you in using the credits of the phone and if you had post paid you can use how much you wants and when the time for the bill to come you will get a shock of your life.

I prefer prepaid and there are reasons for it.. As you said the call may get interrupted, so just look at the better side you will start talking less so as to save your credit for important calls, also you can keep a voucher if the credit goes off. But in case of postpaid you don't take the tension of the credit but when the bill comes to you anyhow you got that tension

Since you said it yourself that you find it hard controlling your budget then maybe you should get pre-paid. Just check from time to time your remaining balance so you would not run out of load. Better yet prepare an extra card in case of emergency.
