Hi Myloters, I been trying to make some article to post in some of the site I join but I cant seems to do it because when I look at some articles its really good in my eyes and I feel like I cant do it. If you are a article writer that wrote more than 500 words do you consider yourself to be really good in grammar? I like writing but i cant find a way to tell myself i can do it. How do you do it? Thanks for your time Myloters Happy Myloting

I think you just need more self confidence. Read a lot. Write a lot. Read what you have written, look at it carefully to see if you think you can make it better. I take great care to read what I have written, and I try to improve it as much as I can before I post it on a website. I take more time in proofreading and editing my own work than it takes me to write it. We all make small mistakes when writing and it's easy to miss some of them when looking over what has just been written. Don't forget that good writing is a skill, it's not just for self expression.

I do agree with you pad2write. But if someone is not that good in grammar that doesn't mean that he'll stop his dream to be a writer. You are right, it needs confidence and a lot of reading and proof reading.

Good grammar and sentence structure is essential to writing good articles. One thing you might want to do is to buy a Gregg writing manual which has all of the rules of grammar, punctuation and so forth that would help you improve your writing and perhaps get you some paid gigs, too. It may seem like a lot of work, but if you're serious about improving your writing the Gregg manual will be worth buying. If you don't have the money to buy one right now, you could go to the library and take one out. Most libraries have one or two and you could just keep checking it out when you wanted to research about something. Just some suggestions that I hope are helpful to you.

I agree with the previous response your post is hard to read. The title is confusing. Here's an example of something maybe a little better "do you need good grammar to do paid writings" Im not trying to correct you or anything its just that your title is hard to make sense of. Ive never had great grammar but I usually can tell how something should look by reading it for the most part. I havent wrote any articles lately as it never really interested me. When I had to do them in school I always did decently on them from what I can remember.
