U can learn just by surfing the net... there are many tut0rials u cn find. But if u r vry hard w0rking, u can learn it in n0 time... Study first the ch0rd chart n' try t0 strum the guitar with each ch0rd. When strumming, try t0 relax your hands and use only less force... Practice strumming not only by down stroke but do it by up and down stroke... After you master the strumming technique, go for plucking.... Good luck! We triumph without glory when we conquer without danger...

I agree with the above commentators. The first step is to learn the cords. There also should be some tutorial videos available online where you can see how they do it. Watch music videos (especially the unplugged ones) to get an idea of the rhythms, etc. The bottom line though is practise, practise and more practise. It will take you a while to be able to move seamlessly from one cord to the next.

You really wanna learn how to play a guitar ha. On the internet their are lots of basic procedure tutorial that is very easy to follow. Try to search one on the internet. Some are free to download, enjoy.

You don't need anybody to teach you. You just need a chord guide and you can learn from there. Strumming and plucking is quite tricky though. You have to memorize placements of the fingers first on each chord and then strumming and plucking comes next. I learned playing the guitar when I was 18. At first, I tried songs with simple chord patterns like D-A-G-A. Then, when I learned the other chords, I started learning other songs with more complicated chord patterns.
