Your sweetest childhood memory

Listening to a story - The children are listening to a story told by granny. The granny has so many experiences so the story by her must be very interesting.

What is your sweetest childhood memory? To me, it is listening to stories told by my grandma. She had a good stock of myths and legends and she was also an expressive story-teller. Share your sweet memory with us.

Hi there Lucy! My sweetest childhood memory is my sleep-overs with my cousins. We would play the whole day while we eat my aunt's cooking that I still crave for up to now. I miss my aunt's cooking and I miss my cousins too.

My sweetest childhood memories were of bed-time. Since dad stayed abroad, mum and me used to sleep together. I still remember the summer nights when I would put on the cleanest and coolest of nightdresses and she would powder me and then we would switch off the lights and open the windows. The sweet and cool night air would come in, sometimes the moonlight on the bed…it was like entering a dreamland. Then in winters she would tuck me into the softest of quilts and the room was so cozy. All throughout we had our faithful old radio on, late night soothing songs…perfect.
