Do you believe everything written in the papers about celebrities?

I don't believe everything written in the papers about celebrities. The papers want to sell loads of copies of there newspapers and the best way for them to get the public to buy is to put a front page of gossip about a celebrity who is hot at the time to sell the paper. Once reading the paper you soon find out that what was on the front page either isn't true at all or they have made it so much bigger than it was and have added pieces on the way to get the paper to sell. You also do see clebrities sueing the papers more and more these days.

I don't believe one darn thing written in the papers aboutl celebrities. Everyone's just out to make a buck and sell a story, and those poor celebs have no privacy at all. People will spin a story any way they need to, in order to make a buck or two off of it. I can't believe people actually believe that stuff.

Well it's all marketing to me. Specially the tabloids out there. Can you believe the stuff they fluff in there? It's a paper business you know. Yet, to some people out there these things are entertainment. You don't have to believe it's true, it's a past time gone out of proportion. It's like why do people still watch these wrestling matches. It's all an act if you ask me. Hitting someone with a steel chair on the head and no blood? Hehehe. Then later on the other guy hits the other clean on the face with the fist and bloods splurts out? It's a form of entertainment. And they love to market it simply because they see it still sticks no matter how it sucks. Lol. good for them though.

not at all. most of the things are written by the people to sell the magazines or papers like hot cake. but some part is true. otherwise the celebrities can go to court.

You are right , you can't believe everything you read about . They add things to make it sound better or more interesting to sell a lot of papers and make more money for themselves . Anything to do with publicity will sell and a lot of times the celebrities are making up things just to keep their name in the papers so others don't forget about them . It is like one big competition to stay on top .

I dont reallybelieve all the things that are written on newspapers because some of them might not be accurate but once i haveseen the exact news and claims on television news then i will believe it,Because news on the television in my point of view is more reliable than the ones on newspapers.

I don't believe everything I read in the papers and it's not just about celebrites but everyday life in general. Still, I read them as it gives me something to chat about with my friends. And they will probably have read a different version of the story so in the end, we all wonder who is right.

No as most of the written stuff is a spin off by the journalists who are in search of sensationalism to make their newspaper or magazine sell more

Indeed I do not. Nor do I believe everything written about political candidates - in the news media nor on blog sites. I once worked for a mid-sized newspaper, and I was amazed at how news made the front page. Front page news items are not necessarily (or often, probably) the most important news items. Front page news is decided by many factors - which reporter is "owed" a front page item, which articles have the best pictures to go with them, definitely which items will sell the paper more. Good news often doesn't get told. Bad news sells. And it if ends up being untrue, retractions are buried in the back pages.

Not only about the celebrities, but I don't believe everything about whatever I read about on newspaper... Sometimes newspapers can make mistakes too & you'll see retractions... When it comes to people of any sort, things can be taken out of context... Things can be misunderstood or twisted... Sometimes reporters are just plain rude & like any other human beings, they(celebrities) can get upset too... For me, it's almost like here... First thing that catches my eyes is the title... Sometimes newspapers will use that tactic to say or have some rude title to the face of some celebrity that has nothing to do with the story, just to get the attention of readers... I always read my newspaper with grain of salt or with little bit of skepticism...

No, I don't Sometimes they just make up their own stories just to become famous and be the talk of the town. OTher publications also would write so many stuff about the celebrity so that their magazine issue will be sold out. They know that majority of the people like gossip and showbiz. That's why they just write it on what they want to say..THat sometimes they already hit the privacy of the celebrity. They are human beings too who have the right to their own private life

Yea, I don't believe everything that I read about celebrities either. I agree with what you said. Sometimes the headline is made to seem like something that it's not and when you read the article you find out that it's not what you were expecting to read. People like hearing gossip and that's what sells. Sometimes the articles can be faintly based on truth but the truth is twisted in some way or another. Sometimes it's still interesting to read. Now it's not only the newspapers and magazines though. You can see more and more bloggers writing things about celebrities that probably aren't true.

No...I don't believe everything that is written about celebrities. I am sure they want to sell more papers and magazines so they probably add a little more spice then is actually happening in real life. You have to have a tough skin to be a celebrity in today's world.

no i do not believe most of it. it is sensationalism at its best and based on rumor, inuendo and speculation. it sells magazines though as people eat it up. some of the pictures though are worth a thousand words as the camera does not lie.

When it is a broadsheets yes but if tabloids not really. No offense to those who are reading the tabloids but usually more than usually when it is reported in tabloids the news are just blown out to make it appear to real or some parts are not really true they just do it to sell unlike broadsheets they are more trustworthy when it comes to news especially celebrities since they are just allocating a portion to celebrity section so you get only the juicy one.

I personally do not pay any attention to any type of those newspapers or magazines because I think it is horrible that they invade celebrity's privacy. I do not find any interest in anything that goes on in their lives because they are people like anyone else and carry lives as others do. Of course, there are many people who love to see what is going on and that is why they make so much money I just do not believe it is right.

As a rule for a long time now I really have a hard time believing a lot of things that are told me just from experience especially with things written of celebrities. First of all, I usually don't have the time to read the rumors or gossip surrounding the celebrities and the paparazzi that follows them. I usually don't go along with too much until I actually see something with my own eyes and then make a decision what is true or not.
