Shampoo as bath soap?

My husband recently bought a really nice smelling baby shampoo. I noticed that after one week of using it for my boys, it is already almost empty. It is a large bottle so i estimated it would be used up after two weeks. When we ran out of soap, i asked my husband to buy but to my surprise, he told me we still have liquid soap and he was referring to the shampoo. That explained the almost empty bottle. He said it's nice to use it as soap, so i tried. Well, the result was almost like using a liquid soap. So now, whenever we run out of bath soap, i just use that shampoo. DO you sometimes "shampoo" your body when there is no soap? How do you find it?
