Is anyone having trouble logging into Windows Live Messenger? I can't seem to login and keep receiving some kind of error (8100306 and other error codes). It keeps changing its error codes and I've tried everything, from registering DLLs to deleting the cache. Even removing the entries in my hosts file, to no avail. Is anyone else having this problem?

Nope, you're not the only one. I suspect that MSN Messenger might be updating itself again, which would mean that they probably changed login protocols. Why would they do that, I don't know, but I do know it's annoying, especially if you're on a different client than the "official" MSN client.

some years ago have a little problem on msn messenger, but it's ok after a few days . so i think you should wait some days, maybe the windows live messenger service is changing in your country.

Hmm yeah, that sounds possible. I guess waiting's all I can do. I even tried the web msn client, but it didn't work either.

From time to time you will have moments where you can sign in, just check that your internet line is working and check if someone else in your home isn't using up all the connection bandwidth. But just try again every ten minutes, it usually works.
