when this election is over!! I get tired of polotics very easily, most especially the degrading each other and the lies. I hate those commercials you see where all they're doing is saying the other party lied about the promises they made. I'm tired of hearing the most recent thing Obama said or hearing about Palin's personal life issues. The election is not between Obama and Palin, in case people have forgotten. It's between Obama and McCain.
I will vote in November, and will give a great sigh of relief because we'll finally get a break for awhile.
Who else is tired of hearing about polotics at the moment?

I'm very sick of this election too. I can't wait until they announce the winner and it's over. I hope that will end all of the he said he said stuff. Thank goodness every day gets us one day closer to the end.

You think it's going to be over when they announce the winner????
Remember, I'm in Florida and I'm sure we'll do *something* to screw up the voting process, the vote counting and the final tally reporting! You should hear about the problems we had during the Primaries...

LOL It was wishful thinking lol
I think Florida needs a bill to teach people how to vote lol Just kidding but honestly why is it so hard for that state to have an election? Maybe if they moved the polling stations to the Shuffle board courts.... lol

LMAO!! Yeah, that might work.
I have no idea what the problem is with this state unless it's a matter of it's size but there are larger states that don't screw up like we do. Actually, part of the problem is the voting process and the fact that so many different procedures are used depending on where you live...and I guess how much money your county has. I live in a very rural area, in what would be considered a poor county because we have a lot of retirees living here, so we don't get the state of the art voting machines that some of the more populated coastal areas get. We get a piece of paper and a pencil and get to fill in the little circles sitting at a table or at a pop up voting *booth* that's really a table with sides on it. Afterwards ouir ballots are sucked into a machine and who knows who ends up being responsible for that thing! If there was some consistancy in our state's voting process maybe we'd do better. I wonder if they make voting machines that you can also play a round of shuffle board on, too? LOL!

Hello there. I'm not from the US, but like you, I'm getting tired of politics, too.
Our election here in our country will be in 2010, but as early as now, interested politicians and traditional politicians are starting to work for their candidacy. Commercials here and there, showing and exposing their faces and brag about things they've done. Bombarding each with different issues. Politics is really tiring!

Yes, I have been tired of it for a long time. Look at how long they have been going now. Obama announced his candidacy in January of 2007!!! He has been campaigning for 20 months now! Way too long, if you ask me. And none of them wants to address the real issues. Primaries as well as now, it's more character assassination we get to hear than anything else. It's so sad.
I think the reason they jump all over Palin and dig up all the dirt on her personal life has more to do with our scandal driven media than anything else. She is new to pretty much everybody but Alaskans. And just like we do it with the starlets, the papparazi go to work. Who can get the most scandalous picture, who can dig up the best dirt. Unfortunately, stuff like that sells. And since she is new and people want to know who she is, she is a really good seller for the media right now.
I'm tired of the mudslinging, I'm tired of the theatrics (no Mr. Obama, nobody is impressed anymore, we have seen it for too long, we look right through it), I want to hear what they think on the real issues!!! Won't happen though. They all know they can't really change anything at the moment. That's why both main candidates put a spin on the same issues, a spin that's uncanny similar just differently wrapped. If they differ, it's not accomplishable within the term of the presidency.
YES, LETS GET THE VOTING OVER WITH!!!
