One of my friends, had a daughter through operation..way back in 1993...As she had two miscarriages previously, she was kept on complete bed rest. For this reason, she gained a lot of weight, during her pregnancy. In last few years, she have shed a lot weight...almost 25 pounds...and is back to her old weight ( almost) But, she is facing a problem...Her stomach is still big( in simple words) just like carrying a half POT. Now, I request my MYLOT friends and other members,if some one has any tips for her, so she can get rid of her additional weight..Any one, who has seen any similar example and knows the remedy? Hope, I get a solution from MYLOT...and I can help .. She don't want to take any medicines...as this will have a few side effects...

when she lost the weight did she do it by dieting or did she exercise too? if she didn't exercise then that might be why. she should try doing crunches...that might help out a little

without exercising while losing weight, she probably did keep her belly size. there is no way to exercise just to remove this belly. you have to exercise the belly, sides, back. the longer it's been there, the harder it is to lose. does your friend walk? does your friend have a gym or a YMCA near by? those are trusted places to exercise.

She will just need to do some exercises for her abdominal muscles to tighten them up, like sit-ups or crunches. When a woman has children, her abdominal muscles are stretched so tightly that they never go back the way they were before she was pregnant. The only way to look exactly like she did is to have plastic surgery, what they call a "tummy tuck". She will always have a bigger tummy now that she's had a baby unless she wants to go through that surgery. But she can reduce the size of her tummy by concentrating exercises just for that area.

I have a sister in law who gave birth (normal delivery) recently and in just a few weeks she was back to her old shape. All she did was dieting and exercise. It must be done together because you have to make your body firm by exercise while disciplining yourself through diets. If she have unwanted fats along her stomach and she went under ceasarian operation, I think this is just a side effect from her operation. I've noticed that among mothers who gave birth through operation. If she really wanted to get rid of it, better ask a fitness trainer because they know what will work best.

I never had any experienced like her. But wht i can suggest is, she will going to consult one of the nutritionist or dietrician for her diet and lossing wieght program in a natural way. I would not suggested lossing weight pill as it has a side effects to her. So better she will seek professional help.
