yes. i am a certified corn addict. my comfort food, in fact, is the basic corn on the cob. i like ginataang corn, corn kernels in melted cheese cornflakes, corn soup, binatog (it's boiled corn with grated coconut, sugar and evaporated milk. the best tasting ones are here in baguio. it's sooo good, the binatog stand itself was featured at this site: www.marketmanila.com/archives/binatog), mais con yelo, nilagang baka with corn and anything that has corn in it! now YOU'RE making me hungry!!

Hello pehpot. One of the good products here in our city is corn. I like to eat corn, be it pop, boiled, fried or dried, or anything. I love the corn soup with crab sticks. Corn can be made into oil which can be used for cooking and very low in cholesterol. If I can't find olive oil or canola, I use the corn oil. Aside from that, the husks and hairs of the corn can be used in handicraft making. Corn husks and hairs are used in making artificial flowers and home decors and bags. They are exported outside the country. Corn plant is really very versatile. Good day!

I prefer white corn. That I really love. I remember my high school day. We will go to the cornfield of my classmate and feast on the newly harvested white corn. Oh so sweet, the sweetest corn I tasted were from that field. Those bought from vendors are big disappointments to me. Even the japanese corn that are very common now does not match the sweetness of the white corn I tasted before. The japanese corn now are sweet but it does not seem to satisfy. It is still leaving my stomach hungry. I also love using scraped white corns in soup.

yes! i love corns!!!!Specially as a side dish!(corn and carrots with butter!yumyum!)We make what we called here in the philippines "mais con yelo" its like a "halo-halo" but the ingredients is just a corn and put lots of crashed ice and lots of milk!!!! happy mylotters!

Yes i really love to eat corn especially if the variety is sweet corn. I love it when its cooked on butter or just put it in my veggies or soup.

We eat corn the same way as you guys do but we don't get to pick them from the plant we have to buy them in the store :) It is something I enjoy eating but not everyone here likes it as much as I do so it is only made on special occasions . It is really nice to have outside on a hot day for a picnic . Now pop corn is something we all like and that gets eaten quite a bit in our house . My husband loves pop corn and it is a nice cheap treat to buy that everyone enjoys .

I love corn! HEHE actually i love it when it has butter. I used to cook buttered corn for my husband but then lately i seldom do it anymore. He loves corn too! I had a cooking class before and i was assigned to give this professor anything to eat and she will be the one to rate what i cooked. I mad buttered corn for her and luckily corn is her favorite! haha I got 99 for that! Happy mylotting!

I love corn products. :) I love the corn kernels in can too. But the best is when they are boiled. I also like mais con yelo. Last weekend, I was on a field work in Bogo, Cebu. Our partners there gave us this "pintos" -- it's like a cake corn with cheese inside. It was really yummy especially with coffee. Now, just by the thought of it, I feel hungry!

Well let's see now, corn - i think I eat in my cereals, i don't like popcorn - i only like it's smell but don't make me eat it ; I don't like it in pizza's and other food so i guess it works for me only in cereals.

hi pehpot, i am not so interested in corn. i like to eat boiled corn, and pop corn. i don't like to drink corn soup though. whenever i go to the beach, i buy toasted corn. they toast the corn and put some lime and masala in it. i like to eat that very much. happy mylotting!
