There are lots of multi-level marketing here in the Philippines. These companies offers different products from food supplements to apparels. Have you tried joining or becoming a member to any of these companies? What are the benefits of venturing in this type of businesses? What are the good and bad experiences that you had while in this type of business?

I think it's not all about leadership skills. I think its all about luck and determination. Even if your recruit is very determined but has no luck, then earning in this kind of business is not for that recruit.

Wow , those network marketers are really earning a lot. I'm happy that you have been successful in these kind of business. Unfortunately, I've some bad experiences in networking companies. Not because I didn't earn but because some of the people I've recruited lost their investment and what hurts most is some of the relationship I've had with my friends got affected . Goodluck to you bro.

I was invited a lot of times to join the multi-level marketing band wagon... but good thing i did not... those people who were very vigilant in getting downlines ended up leaving the company themselves... a lot of them tend to lie and exaggerate about the product they are selling and that is not a good thing...

Yeah, I agree with you. Those kind of people are the ones who destroy the reputation of multi-level marketing companies. They only care for themselves and trick people just to earn money. But I think some multi-level marketing companies are good and has helped a lot of people. I am saying this because I know a few multi-level markating companies that are still on business and has been operating for more than 10 years.

I have been involved with multi-level marketing and network marketing since 1996 when my friend from America introduced me to it and asked me to make a computer program for it. After so many years and so many companies I have come to the conclusion that while the concept might be interesting and certainly attractive, the track record of these investments always point to many people losing money.

I think those multi-level marketing companies that makes people lose money are the types of companies that only focuses on getting a lot of members. They don't focus on their product. So when the market gets saturated, members of this multi-level marketing companies leave because they couldn't recruit anymore leaving their downlines hopeless. I too joined a multi-level marketing company before but I stopped recruiting people because I felt guilty that some of my recruits that invested their money hoping to make their lives better.
