Bad experience from ATM machines.

Have you experienced withdrawing a great amount of money from your ATM account and then the ATM machine failed to dispense your money and deducted your account balance? What did you felt? and what did you do after?
I already encountered this kind of experience, I was in Megamall and tried to withdraw money from my Bank of the Philippine Islands ATM account so that I could pay for my Banco de Oro Shopmore Credit Card. When this happened, I immediately called the Bank of the Philippine Islands customer service and reported that one of their machines had deducted money from my account but did not dispense any money. Good thing, BPI replaced the deducted amount from my account after 3 banking days.

Yes, we had a bad experience about one ATM. The Citystate Atm machine in Shaw Blvd. We withdraw money there using our atm metrobank. We were supposed to buy computer that time. We were so excited because after having days of discussion regarding the computer, we finally decided to buy one. Back to the atm topic, we withdraw 10k. But when we count the money, it was only 7,500. We looked inside the money dispenser and we were shocked when we saw that the remaining money were stuck in the dispenser.We try to pull it out but then, the money got back again inside the machine. We thought it was some kind of modus operandi. We reported it to the guard and he gave us form so we could get our money back.He said that the machine was kinda defective that it cannot dispense bulk amount of money at the same time. Fortunately, after three days, we got our money back. But you know, we almost didnt buy this computer because of that bad experience.

That's very frustrating. The lesson I learned from my experience was not to withdraw large amount of cash into the ATM since we couldn't get our money right away if the ATM machine failed to dispense our cash and deducted the money we are withdrawing from it.
