This is a tough one because to me, what I may consider exotic may be local/usual to others. Like you, I've never tried fried frogs or snake. But I've tried escargot while having dinner at a French restaurant and I liked it. Boyfriend is never into seafood or anything similar to it so Sister and I enjoyed the order by ourselves. I've also tried a chocolate-covered grasshopper. That one, I tried because a classmate had this presentation in school about chocolate-covered bugs and brought some. I didn't really like it but now I can say I tried it.

whhhaaaattttt? chocolate-covered grasshopper? how does that taste? i can just imagine the legs of the grasshopper passes by my throat and i feel like puking... sorry for that. i admire you friend!!! thanks for the post and happy mylotting!!!

I can't describe it. Twas a little stingy/thorny when I got to the legs. If it wasn't covered in chocolate, I probably would not have tried it.

No i haven't either. I just don't have the guts to do so. Maybe because i wasn't taught how to eat them but i don't want to learn and i don't wanna try.
