If you asked me about a year ago, I wouldn't have cared much because I used to have simple phones that I could easily replaced... Because of the change in my poisition at work, now I have blackberry... I do have unlimited everything plan through t-mobile so whatever I use on my phone is pretty much free... I use it for everything... I don't even use my house phone... Phone line at home is there purely for the DSL service... All that being said, I would be very upset if I lost my phone, not because how expensive it is but I pretty would've lost my only means of communication with anybody, work, friends, girl friend, my daughter, etc...

t-mobile - The cell phone fell in the ocean
I have never lost my cell phone, I wouldn't care much if I did. I do not live and exist for a cell phone, it is just a convenience, and an expense I can do without. I use my cell phone only for emergencies. I someone wants to get in touch with me, they call my home phone, if I am not home a message would be good, I will call them back. My husband on the other hand, seems like he can not live without a cell phone. He will use his cell phone instead of using the house phone. He did lose his phone once, we had just got them, and he was on a fishing boat with his friend. So silly, he had the phone in his shirt pocket. When he looked overboard into the water, his phone fell out of his pocket into the Atlantic Ocean, that was the end of the phone. There was no insurance on the phone, so we had to buy another one for him.
