What do you think about adoption?

Adoption has its pros and cons. What do you think of adoption? Should there be another alternative? Why are there so many kids with out parents? They are put in the system and a lot of them gets lost in it and never find parents...that's not right. But then again, say a crack head has a baby...would you want that baby to grow up in that inviroment...or would you rather have it put up for adoption?

I have mixed feelings about this. What about adoption of a different race? or country? Is it fair on the child to take him out of his environment and put him in another race/country. I honestly have my doubts whether adoption is suitable in these cases.

no...i dont think its fair for a child to be taken out of his culture...but if that's the best option for that kid to grow up a normal, happy, healthy life. then I think that it would be best for that child. What does anyone else think about this subject?
