I agree that there is a problem in this country with how people raise their children. I see parents who let their kids throw tantrums in the grocery store, who let their kids throw food around in restaurants, and a lot of other rude things. Recently I was with a group of friends at a hot spring. We had our own pool by the side of the river, and some little girl, maybe 7 or 8 years old, came over and started splashing cold water from the river at us. She stared at us and grinned the whole time- she was doing it on purpose, and her mother didn't even say anything. Kids here are spoiled rotten little brats, particularly those whose parents have money. It's insane, but I don't really know what's to be done about it.

I think there's a happy medium somewhere.
