I was into distant learning for the past 2 years and just this May, I enrolled in a traditional school where I attend class everyday. For a busy mom like me who sometimes have no time to read my modules in school, I now prefer attending classes because I can just listen to my intructors' discussion and read along our modules. I am an ineffective online learner because I tend to procastinate. What about you? WHich do you prefer and why?

Taking classes in a classroom isn't so bad. I just hate how long those are. They go forever sometimes it seems. With online schooling you can actually go at your own pace as long as you get the work done. Taking classes during the summer I've found is actually a lot better as during the summer there does not seem to be as much work involved.

I prefer traditional school. In fact, online is more cost-efficient if u are selfconscious. The thing is I am too lazy to learn if no one pushes me. This is the reason that I prefer traditional schooling so that some people will keep hitting me with a hamper. But it feels so good when I stop!

Hi chrysz, I have no experience about online studies but I know I have that attitude too of putting things off so, I would prefer the traditional way where I will be working with team, there is interaction with people!

I prefer traditional schooling. I'm a stay at home mom with 3 kids, I need the interaction with other people! I tried attending online, but, like you, I tend to procrastinate and didn't do very well.

I don't have experience of learning online. But I just can imagine that if I study online just home.I will be ineffective, too.Studying in a traditional school, you will have more opportunity to communicate with your teachers and classmates easily.I feel good when I study with my good classmates. That's my opinion.

I prefer Traditional. I've already tried the online, but I start to do other things that really takes out my attention.

I absolutely hated the one class that I was forced to take online. It was a last minute replacement for a class that got cancelled, and the only one that I could use that fit my schedule (ironically, the part time job I had at that point ended a couple of weeks after the class started, so I could have taken something else). The teacher seemed not to cared about teaching. Basically, you read the textbook, spent time on a discussion board, and writing assignments. I could have taught myself the subject cheaper though the book alone. Maybe it was because the class was taught though a community college, but I was very unhappy with my online learning experience; I never had a traditional class turn out that bad, and I have had a couple of bad instructors, so I prefer traditional classes over the online versions.
