.. a DayTimer of course!!!! OR Franklin COvey or any other similar cool thing?
You know, one of those thick 3 ring notebooks that they had before PDA's, FDA's and OICU812's? That had literally your life in them and a divider or tab for every aspect of your life? I loved those so much - they were the neatest thing. I am a neat freak when it comes to organization and boy those daytimers had it sll. Problem was, I was just not that busy to need one!!! I just watched that movie "27 Dresses" and she had a daytimer - she had MY daytimer!! I drooled when I saw that! Why couldn't that be mine?!?!?
But alias, a simple sheet of paper and a pencil to originate, is all I need.
What about you? Do you use? What's your favorite part about your daytimer?

I used to use a daytimer and it was a lifesaver in the days before PDA's and smart phones, however now I use a web-based fully functional on-the-fly relational database subscription service and it lets me e-mail reminders to myself and or pull up inquiries anywhere. I'm far too busy to be able to keep up with just pencil and paper, even now that we are retired. Too many places to go and things to do. I just thrive on information and want it at my fingertips at all times.

I havent a clue as to what you are using!! LOL!!!! I guess I am just stuck in the 20th century! My paper and pencil work just fine. I can fill all the lines on a single page for nearly every day!!! Slow down and take a coffee break!!!!

As a matter of fact, YOU are my only coffeebreak, as I don't drink coffee. I get wired enough on life without it. What I use is just an interactivecyber chart and the advantage of a chart over linear reminders is that it is multidimensional...a bit more like the interaction on the internet than the old fashioned coffee clutch/Klatsch, if you know the term.

I don't drink it either - but after what you just said...maybe I should start...I still don't have a clue as to what you use!! Good luck tho, as if it works for you, that's all that matters!

I use one for work because there are occurrences that I need to register on the specific day, and I have all the supply instructors phone numbers in there as well. It comes handy to note specific important dates, like when report cards are due, when there's PA days etc.
I don't have one for my personal life. I prefer to live it unscheduled :)Darn if a calendar will dictate my life more than what it has to LOL

I dont know if I like them cause they are just so organized and I am an over organizer, or cause they are so practical. TO me, why remember what you don't have to if you can just flip a page and find it. Why clutter my mind with things that I only need to remember once a week or so - write it down and save that space in my brain for things that are vitally important for me to remember.
As my 8 yo GD says, "find a page in my brain to put it on, then I just flip the pages".
