Ok one of my things that gets under my nerves is people who take credit for things they haven't done. I live in the area of Houston and we are getting prepared for Hurricane Ike. My roommate keeps hollering how everyone is freaking out because in her little mind it is going to go to Florida. I don't know and don't want to know how she figures this out. But anyway. I have done everything I can to prepare. I have canned foods, water, soda, koolaid, and i have started covering the windows. Yet she talks to her friends and say things like" we did this" and "we did that". What we?! I did this! ME MYSELF and I!!! My husband is on the road driving the truck so it has been ALL ME! I can't stand when people do that. UGH!

hi keasling...yeah, isn't it something. there are people like that everywhere. i think most people have someone like that in their life. i suppose you should try to focus on the fact that you have done all that you know to be safe and try to put miss piggy goofbrain out of your mind. wish you a safe riding out the storm.

thank you so much. It is really nice to be complimented instead hearing rude remarks about tuna helper but i guess that is another discussion.

I agree, people who take credit for stuff they didn't do suck. Meh. Maybe you should make her go sit outside when the hurricane force winds sweep by lol Florida? I can see it hitting us here in Louisiana, but Florida? I don't think it could boomerang that much. You guys may luck out based on the last trend they showed here. My ex just called me and asked if we had provision - of course we don't because we are broke from evacuating!

After preparing it might have been cheaper to evacuate but I have 6 doggies to worry about. She believes this is just over reacting. I rather over react and be prepared than think like her and then be stuck.

Has she seen the news recently? It was headed towards Florida last week and the path has drastically changed. I know people who do that. My husband will start to take credit sometimes and I just give him this look. He changes his statement mid sentence and says Kara did such and such.

lol my husband does the same thing. This girl just I don't know. She uses her pregnancy as an excuse for everything. Think she got upset because i told her she can get her own dr pepper out of the truck. This way she can say she did something.
