Why did PayPal break off with PTCs?

I know this happened a while back, but I'm just curious as to why PayPal decided to not allow payments from PTCs. Was it because many of their customers were complaining of getting shortchanged by PTC sites? Or do they have some mentioned reason that I didn't manage to come across? Thanks in advance.

I am not sure, but I was wondering the same thing. I know a couple of years ago when I was really into trying to make money online, most of them paid through paypal and at the time I did not have a paypal account and didn't want to make one. Now that I do have a paypal account, there aren't many websites that offer payment that way. What is the deal with the new website like paypal? ((I forgot what it's called, but I've seen it on several money making sites lately))
