Hi there... Yes. I sure do use buttons for the scrap books that I make. You actually have a very nice list already. I've also put similar things on my scrapbook as well. You can also use receipts or candy wrappers and such that were given to you by special people. I'd also cut out really nice images from magazines. We have a shop near our place where they sell scrapbooking stuff and I'd usually buy from there. You can try stickers as well. There are a lot of nice cheap stickers and stationery sets that would look good on a scrap book.

Oh you're sure right about it. I'll soon go to a place in the Philippines called "Divisoria" and I'll find cheap stuff for my scarp book to be complete. I'm working on my and my husbands scrap book and actually I'm working it for almost 3 years, I'm kinda busy here so I rarely have it worked. Well, anyways I'm on my second book for my little one, my baby boy and he's 4 month old. I have him page by page every month and it's really cute and wonderful to have it capture in my scrap book. Thanks for the tips!

Awww... that's so sweet... I just finished making one for fiance and he really likes it. The front and back cover pages of the scrap book is made entirely of colored beads. It looks like a stained glass painting. It took me hours to make not to mention several tubes of glue. Lol. I know your baby will appreciate that in the future.

Buttons are a must! I love using buttons. I also like to use paperclips and staples as well. I just make sure that whatever I add to my scrapbook is archive safe. I don't want all my hard work breaking down and changing my photos over time.

I went to the dollar store the other day and found some very cute barretts that are kind of like clips but they don't fasten so they won't crinkle your page. I have a little granddaughter and will use these on some of her pages.....they are shaped like lips! And there were 20 on the cardboard sheet so I got alot for my money.

Yep and I Love them! I have some that are tiny tiny ones and they are great for dottig i's or eyes or just to make a shape. Little larger ones I use for a decorative closure on an envelope. String a piece of contrasting embroidery floss from the back side to the right side and tie it - adds a little bit of embellishment to the button!

I love to use buttons on my pages. I haven't thought of using playdough or puzzle pieces, I like that idea of puzzle pieces. I may do that in my next one, Oh I have a small idea you could put together a part of the puzzle like a corner and put it on the page!

I use buttons on a lot of the pages that I do for my children. Some of the things on your list I use a lot, some of them I probably wouldn't put next to a photo. Some of the natural things like tree bark and leaves contain a lot of things that can damage the photos themselves. They make a page look really nice, though, so I would place them in the payout - just at a distance from the pictures.
