HI FRIENDS MANY SAY THAT 20-20 CRICKET IS GOING TO KILL THE TEST CRICKET.Do you Agree or Disagree to this? I belive that nothing can stop test cricket,20-20 is a different kind of cricket where decissions are to be taken instintly and if you make a mistake in a single over it will effect the entire match.in 20-20 type of format we cannot expect any team to be favourate, the players of the team on the game day will bring or loose the match. The records made in test cricket brings much name ,VVS laxman is the best Example of a very good test cricketer, he plays Really Well Against Australia and ausis bowlers fears to bowl to him.

It is not that 20-20 cricket is going to kill the test cricket. Actually the cricket fans and the audiance will enjoy the 20-20 cricket match, as it is of short time and more number of runs will be scored in that match, batsmen will have much pressure in 20-20, there will be no patiance for the batsmen to play, its just like hit out or get out. Actually the real cricket is the test cricket where the players show their real performance both the bowlers and batsmen by playing using their skills. The 20-20 cricket is just like a entertainment match, it is actually not a real cricket. A cricket player likes to play test cricket rather than one day or 20-20. I think there should not be much 20-20 cricket. The team which performs well in test match is the best team that we can tell. 20-20 is purely luck of the batsmen or the bowler of course the whole team. i prefer the test cricket to be played, what about you. which type of cricket do you prefer? once the batsmen get settled in the field in the test cricket, it is very difficult for the bowler to get him out, bowler has to use his skill and defeat the batsmen. In that Australia is also a good team in test cricket as also Indian team also play test cricket very well. Test cricket is the cricket where the players can play their real game and satisfactory game. what do you say?

20-20 cricket has left its mark on test cricket.20-20 cricket is a low over high runs cricket and is only for a shorter time while tests are high over low runs cricket with longer time. nowadays people do not have the time to watch a cricket game of 5 days or so(except for the true cricket fans)and after the IPL this seems to have risen. And this trend will only continue to rise .I think this trend is going to have a great impact on test cricket maybe not now but in the future it surely will. The way a player is affected after 5 days of play is also a key factor in its decline

I feel that something new does not usually kill off something old. Probably that new thing came to the fore only because the old thing was loosing it's charm. I remember in the late 80s and early 90s Test Cricket was deemed boring with only draws taking place all over. But, once the ODI structure really took off, then results started coming in Test matches and the interest of the public in Test matches increased. Maybe T20 might get in some younger crowd into the stadiums for the test matches as well who knows. Cheers! Ram

I think T20 cricket can spoil test cricket. Too much of T20 cricket should be avoided. It might give plesure and thrill to the spectators but it is certainly detrimental to test cricket as players forget to slow down during test matches and wickets fall quickly without many partnerships being built. Remember in those days how many good partnerships were built for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th wickets?

Well it is hottest topic around these days I don't think it would spoil test cricket to a such extent but it certainly will make impact on one day cricket that's for sure.
