I don't understand how someone could go eight months and not know they were pregnant . Besides putting on weight , feeling tired and all the other changes that occur how could one possilby not feel the baby inside kickinig all day , the constant trips to the bathroom especially in the later months . There are so many little nuances that go along with pregnancy that I just don't understand how one could pass ALL of them away as something else . And the baby kicking would be a pretty good idea there was something going on . You can actually see when a baby kicks when one is pregnant , what could they ever find as the reason for finding a foot sticking out of their stomach or feeling a foot stuck under their rib cage . I would see the only way one could go eight months and say they didn't know was a classic case of denial . I have always known within the first few weeks except with my first because of the symptoms and a missed period is a pretty big indications especially as the months would start to pass by and one wouldn't have one .

hi dear juhi pregnancy is such a thing that one dreams of it . one can know on the d day that you are pregnant this time. the body has some rhythmic changes immediately after the fertilization that if you are sensitive to those small changes you will observe them!! but any way the urine test and other tests by the doctor can give and confirm the message immediately thereafter!!

yes i fully agree with you dear kushank55. but there are full variety of people with their degree of involvement. for example there is a lot of difference between the first pregnancy and when you are say fourth time pregnant!! and are you waiting for the child for the last four-five years or are forcively made pregnant! so there could be difference in the degree of interest!!

My mother, and many of my friends, have told me that when you get pregnant you will missed your period and possibly feel sick, and that is when you know that you are pregnant.

unfortunately in the case of my mother when she was pregnant with me she was 15 and she didnt know until she was 7 months which i dont understand because how can you not feel the movements and not know that something is hooky in denmark but in her defense she was having her period for 7mths and thats why she didnt know plus she never received the proper education growing up. Yes cases like these are rare and shocking but if we arent sensitive to our bodies it can happen or if we are over weight it can happen too or especially if you have irregular periods in the first place. hi there. I am currently pregnant with my fourth child. For all the pregnancy that i had, i just knew that i am pregnant once i am late (as i am always on time). I will then do the home pregnancy test. After that i will visit my gynea to confirm on the findings. I like to know about it early as i would want the gynea to prescribe me with the folic acid which is very beneficial for the developemnt of the baby neural system. I believe its good if we discover about it early so that we can prevent ourselves from doing the things that are not suppose to be done while pregnancy. For example we need to take extra calcium, folic acid. Less intake of caffeine. No exposure to chemicals. No x-ray and other stuffs like that.

I have heard in the past about women not knowing til they give birth but for me with my son i didn't know til I was 3 months pregnant because my periods were scattered and with my daughter I knew the first week because my body felt different. it depends on alot of things. Some women do not get regular periods and some have a hard time concieving so they don't think anything of the signs.

with my first 3 I knew I was pregnant within a week of missing a period, but with the one i'm carrying now I was almost 4 months along before I realized. There was a 15 yr span in between this one and my last one so being pregnant was the last thing I was thinking of when symptoms started showing up. I honostly thought at first that It was early menopause. A friend of my daughters was 7 mos along before she knew, but I'm not sure if she really didn't know or if she just didn't want to admit it because she was young and scared. I would think it would be hard not to know by then because the baby starts moving pretty regularly around 4 or 5 mos. and I would think that feeling it would get a person into the doctor asap LOL.

I can't believe this. A baby starts moving around 4-5 months where you can't help but know you are pregnant. I didn't look pregnant until I was about 7 months or so, but I sure knew I was pregnant!Perhaps nobody else knew, but she knew. But there is no way I believe a person pregnant wouldn't know before 8 months. I have a cousin's wife who was pregnant with twins and nobody knew but her and her husband, not even anyone working with her. She worked the day they were born!

the most obvious sign of pregnancy is a missed period..NO you can't hide your pregnancy up to eight month!!!there are other symptoms of pregnancy like an altered taste , and strong likes or dislikes for certain foods, nausea and vomiting, feeling of exhaustion and tiredness, increased emotional vulnerability etc..if you have signs like this and pregnancy is not on your mind, then you'll have a check up for that matter and you'll gonna find out soon that you're pregnant.(",).
