the best one in my eyes is NOD32, it's great, don't take a lot of time to update, fast update also because of the great servers they have. Kasper, norton, Mccafe they are good But Slow Too Slow.

i have used almost all of the anti virus and actually none could fully satisfy my needs. the two anti virus that i liked most are eset nod32 and avast antivirus proffesional. i think nod32 is light and works gr8. but one feature that keeps avast way ahead of others is the boot time scan i think it is extremely effective.

I have Testes Many Antivirus Softwares and i have found Avira as the best. its detection speed is High. Consumes less System resources Good Thing About it is ,its even Available for free but Free Version doesnt include Firewall and Spyware Protection. But You Can Use Spyware Terminator, its free and even includes Clamav antivirus, webGuard and many features WebGuard warns you if you try to visit any site that contains harmfull contents so Avira combined With Spyware terminator will be perfect Security tool But If you have 256 Mb and less amount of Ram ,I recommend You Disable Clamav in spyware Terminator. Hope This comment Helped.

Hi, I would look at www.av-test.org. No AN product is guaranteed to catch everything, but somethings that I personally look for are ones that are easy to setup and have all the features that I am looking for, such as virus, spyware, malware, email, and firewal protection. The site lists all anti-virus products and the results. I was surprised how many products there are, and from this site you can pick a couple that look interesting and use their trial versions to find out if you like them. Personally I am using Avira, Spybot Search and Destroy, Spyware Blaster all at the same time without any noticeable system degradation. Matt
