What will you do when you suddenly fall out of Love?

Friends of mine who happened to be a couple dated for quite some time. Then one day suddenly, the girl talked to me crying, she told me she fell out of love with his guy. I was so shocked knowing how sweet they were and how they can get along really well. The girl can't really figure it out too she just said that one morning she woke up then she just realized she doesn't love his guy anymore. I was mad at her at first but later I feel pity on her being in a situation she doesn't want to. So I told her to try to talk to the guy and try to work things out. To cut the story short, they didn't end up being together. The love that once a supposed to be happily ever after, become nothing more than an ended story. 3 years have past, and I can still see how affected the guy is when her girl broke up with him. but I can't help him, I just feel sad for them.
What will you do if you got the same situation? When you suddenly realized you on't love your partner anymore

That happened with me actually. Him and I were together for 10 years, and one day we started talking and I asked him why we were still going on with this- we'd been drifting apart for a long time and just going through the motions to keep things together. We agreed to split up, and have been "apart" for a year. We still talk on the phone everyday and go to dinner at least once a week- he's a great friend and I think he'll always be part of my life, but ending the relationship was for the best.

I'm sorry for what happened with you guys but I'm sure both of you can still find your happiness somehow. Maybe you'll find happiness with someone else, or maybe you'll be back to each other again. Just like what they said "it is sweeter the second time around". Anyways I'm glad both of you are good friends.

Well the best thing to do if you find out that you are no longer in love with someone is to talk to them and tell them, like your friend did.There is no reasn to go on with a relationship if you no longer love this person, it just will never work out.

Yeah I think so but I still don't know if it is the best way for them I mean if they try harder could they be ending up together? I just see my guy friend and he's just devastated. I think they could try harder. But the girl just gave up. too bad

i am just falling or should i say i just fell. my husband after 10 yrs of love an 12 yrs of marriage said that he never ever loved me.
now i am going sick. to keep myself going out of mind i am reading all kinds of answers on all the blogs as to how to handle this and trying to keep myself composed. i am learning........
