The Torchwood radio play

BBC Radio 4 broadcast the first Torchwood radio play on Wednesday. Torchwood: Lost Souls was specially commissioned for what the media were calling "Big Bang Day", and is based on the experiment at CERN. It's available to listen to online by going to the Torchwood website here:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/torchwood/
and clicking on the button marked "Torchwood: Lost Souls". I haven't found time to listen to it yet (I've only just found the link) but I like Torchwood and I like audio drama, so I will be listening to it. Word of warning, Radio 4 dramas are usually only available online for a week after they're broadcast, so it's a good idea to find time to listen to it over the weekend if possible.

I watch Torchwood on TV. however since I live in Canada, I cannot watch any of the episode. Oh I cannot watch American shows either. and I would not be far wrong in that I cannot watch shows on Canadian Tv either. I did not know it was available in audio drama. I do like the idea of someone who fights against evil space aliens, although I think their morals are a bit mixed up and I am not that sure about Jack. I think the show is way too politically correct. Maybe I should cheer more for the space aliens.

I've got to admit, I don't remember anything about a poodle. I'll have to dig the tapes out and watch Season 2 again.

As per usual the BBC is only for those in Britain. Grrr. I tried to get there, but they won't let you in if you're outside the U.K. for rights reasons. Oh well, I'll have to get my fix when BBCAmerica airs it. But Grrr. I would have liked to listen to it. Blast. :)

Bad news! I had no idea the website was blocked to users from overseas! Sorry about that, I wonder how they even know?

It's out on CD now, if you want to buy it. I saw it in Waterstones yesterday, so you could probably buy it via the internet.

Probably the ISP address. It sucks. I missed the season finale of Robin Hood and some episodes are on the BBC website and thus I am out of luck. It does not make me happy because the BBCAmerica site sucks. But I will continue to pine in silence across the pond. :)
