which Operating system do u use?

i have used all windows and am waiting for windows 8. among linux i have sabayon , dream linux, ubuntu, i liked sabayon the most. i am yet to use solaris. i have used mac tiger and i liked it too which ones have u used???/

Me personally i use windows vista. Simply becuase it came already on my laptop. Although in my opinion it seems to be a bit slowere compared to windows XP.

yup some of the features in vista make it a bit slower. but it will be very fast if vista is tweaked properly. u can switch off the unneeded uac and many other not required feature and it would be very fast.

On my PC I have Ubuntu and Windows XP and on my mac I have OSX and Windows XP. I'm not down with Vista yet, all my games run fine in XP, and thats all windows is good for anyway.. gaming =P

on my pc i use 2 different os as windows and one linux based!!so windows version is the classic xp pro and the linux one is ubuntu!!In some cases it is useful havig both in this way you can use them and programs linked to them without many limitations!!

I have used most of the Windows OS, and am currently using Windows Vista Premium on my laptop, and one desktop. I am using Windows XP Media center on the other desktop. The Windows OS are the only ones that I am familiar with.

my lap top runs with a windows xp home edition. have tried linux before but still prefer a windows base os. I would like to own a mac. maybe in the near future

I have Used all Windows OS Starting from Win 3.1 to Vista eagerly Waiting For Release of Complete Version Of Windows Vienna(Windows 7) Currently i have Win xp,2003,vista and PCLINUXOS in My System. Vista Will Run Fine if you Install in Core 2 Duo System as its designed for those processors, and funny thing is Win Xp runs Slower In core 2 Duo When Compared to Vista as Xp Cannot Utilize Resource Completely In Core 2 Duo as its not designed for it,the same case how it was with Windows 98 & Pentium 4.
