I'd say Daywatch. That's definitely on my number one of the most regretted movies I've watched, good thing we just had a free pass. Another one was the Date Movie, I should've waited for it on cable. My then boyfriend couldn't think of any movies to watch that's why we ended up in Date Movie.

I think the most recent movie that I've felt that way about was "No Country for Old Men." We rented it because it was so highly critically acclaimed, and several people we know said it was great. After we watched it, we were both like, "WTF?" I truly cannot understand why the critics reviewed this film well. There was no plot, the villain was so cliche, there was no climax or resolution, the characters weren't interesting or engaging...and it was close to 3 hours long! It was just a huge waste of time.

I've never had that problem, because if the book or movie was really that bad I would not waste my time on it. I would stop reading the book, or I would walk out of the movie, or turn off the video, rather than waste time finishing them off, or seeing them to the end.
