i love silogs. there's a tapsilogan at the end of the street from where i work and it opens from 4 in the afternoon till morning the next day. we go there for dinner. they have all kinds: cornsilog (corned beef), tortasilog (torta - an overload of eggs actually, because torta is already ground pork/beef and eggs), sardinasilog (sauteed sardines), chicksilog (chicken), porksilog (porkchop) and all kinds of combination one can think of. my favorite is tortasilog. hello cholesterol!

I love sinangag a lot. It makes my day complete and I can even eat sinangag the day long. I can eat it with just a fried egg or with "dilis". I love it so much. But having a topsilog or tocilog makes it well enough to pamper my taste buds.

I chose all of the above. This are my all time favorite to eat during breakfast. Its the best when its with tomatoes. Filipinos love to eat sinangag rice cause it gives flavor to your breakfast. My mother usually cooks sinangag with oyster sauce every morning and it tastes very good.

I definitely go for TOSILOG! I'm not much of a "tapa" fan you see. Though I also order longsilog sometimes, I really love tocino! Yummy! I know this type of food is really fattening, I sometimes feel guilty, but I guess my taste is way too Filipino, I just love it!

When I have that much time in the morning, like holidays, I would make sinangag (fried rice) for breakfast. And yes, it's great with daing and vinegar sauce. I like my fried rice to be sauted with onions, garlic, added with bits of tosino or chorizo, then topped with green onions. Sometimes I put green peas and bits of chicken in fried rice. Good day!

Oh Dong you make me hungry!!! I love sinangag and my favorite to go along with it is daing na bangus and crispy tomatoes. And now I am using not ripe tomatoes but green crispy tomatoes. Yes, I learned it from one of myLot users who posted a topic about green tomatoes. You see what benefit it is to stay at myLot? I've been learning new things and one of that is that raw tomatoes could be eaten as is and sometimes it could be dipped in flour and egg and ten fried. Oh how tasty! It goes well wil sinangag, how much more if there is daing. Hmmmm, I feel like eating now!

I prefer Tocilog, be it for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I love my Mom's sinangag with lots of garlic. I also like it when she tosses in some egg or ham with the rice itself. =)
