what are the commom traits that a woman look for a man?

we all have our ideal guy and usually before we date a person we try to check if that person fits into our idealism. what are the common traits that you look for a partner or a mate? when you go into a relationship do you usually get the guy that meet the your set standards or there are times that you settle for less that what you have set? does getting an ideal mate assures a happy, problem free and contended realtionship? please share your stories.

Oh well, there is no perfect guy and perfect relationship that you can find anywhere you go. Being in a relationship is the time to observe whether you are compatible or not. Setting a standard is hard and this would not assures happiness in marriage. Acceptance about everything in your partner plus understanding and love makes up a happy marriage. I doesn't measure up with ideals that you are aspiring in a person. You can not find 100 percent of what you are looking for in a man.

i like the way you put things together. acceptance, understanding and love makes up a happy marriage. we always have to bear in mind that no one is perfect as what you have said and setting standard would just make you feel a failure if your partner is not the guy that you have set. thanks for the post and happy mylotting friend!!!

someone that is responsible, loving, with dignity, honest and loyal. theres still more, but of course its hard to get all of it in one person. theres no perfect person you know. i just hope i can get that kind of a guy that im looking for.

hmmmm... i guess the attitude of a man should matter... applicable to all culture. he should be hardworking too and dependable... that's my 1 cent... hahaahha.. .

I did that before i get married. I said to myself that the guy whom im going to date is cute, with a good heart, non-smoker and drinker, not lazy and daft person. I want an average guy, with good stable job, not too handsome so that i don't have any rivalry, faithful, honest and have a good sense of humor.
