The reasons for the stars rate to drop down is violation of mylot terms and negative ratings by mylot members.

Thank you for your response and for explaining this, to me it is still a question mark because I have not left negative comments in peoples discussions but I guess maybe others thought other wise.

well, i the day i have my star, it was 8 and the next day when i come back here, it was 7. I hope i didn't step on someone, and if i did so, I'm really really sorry about it, believe me, i don't mean to hurt anyone here. Lets post more to get our rating back, hurh?

woah, that's a real drastic drop. in consideration that you have not made any negative comments, maybe there's people want to sabotage you by purposely reducing your star? or maybe some of your comments might have offended some people without your knowing. nevermind, if you have been in 10 stars, im sure you have been actively producing quality response to discussion. im sure, in no time, your stars will be coming up to 10 again. just be patient and keep on posting :D

I agree with what everyone has said so far on this discussion. If someone has already mentioned this, then I may have accidentally overlooked it. I think that star ratings can go down, also, if you start posting within different interests, and get a rating there. If, for instance, you make your first response within the "people" interest, and someone rates you, you may start off at 20345/25493 (the number is just made up, I am not sure what the totals are there at the moment). You then have a low ranking there, and you need to build yourself up. I only suggest this because I dropped two star levels after going to a new interest area, but it wasn't that large, so my drop was not as significant as yours. I could be wrong, but that's my idea.

Thank you for your response and for sharing that, no one had mentioned that part yet so thanks for the heads up. I actually already found out where it came from in meaning the person who did it, all I am going to do is think positive and continue to post and wait and see what happens.

I know I have left some controversial statements to some discussions I have decided to comment on. I always add though, "I am not attempting to offend you or anyone else that may read my comment, I am just expressing my own view point on this topic." I've noticed that has smoothed over alot of back talk, and although I may not have agreed with the person that created the discussion. We usually can find a happy median to agree to disagree on. Hope it helps. I'm made a decision to be true to myself, not to attempt to make waves, as I love to debate, but I'm more of the peaceful soul as well.

Thank you for your response and I agree with you, I am just going to continue to post and see what happens, from what I noticed it is one person just basically attacking me in a negative form but its ok I do not want to think negatively.

That's a massive drop actually. You may have upset someone who then went on to go through all of your posts and started to mark you negatively? I guess all you can do is be mindful of the rules and regulations of mylot and keep doing your best until your rating starts to increase again.
