Have you ever blamed God for your misfortunes?

I watched a movie in which the hero blames God for all his misfortunes. God gets tired of being blamed and so he offers the hero a chance to play God for few days. The hero grants all the wishes of people to be fulfilled and a chao results becuase of this. At last the hero realises what ever the God does is right and he apologises for that. The movie gave me some thing to think about as I too blamed The Almighty for my misfortunes a few times. What about you? Have you ever done that blaming God. Be truthful.

I must admit that I have done it a couple of times. Maybe its not our fault but we are always taught that God is everywhere , knows everything. So with a human mind we reason why God allows such bad things happen to me. We imagine that God is a puppeteer holding strings and directing us in every move we make. God is not like that!

i think i belong to those part of population amounting to say about 70% who actually blame god or thier destiny (which is obviously god made) for the bad things happening in thier life. i quite a lot and very oftenly blame god for things but even if we all blame the next sentence we say or realise is either its our mistake or karm rather past deeds which has made our present births destiny because of which we are all in the present position..god knows who declared god or destiny or luck...its all a mystery...good discussion.

I am an athiest, so there is no one to blame but me. I got myself into a situation, so it would be my fault, blaming others would be demeaning and well it's just not really good. I blame things on the people that actually make them.

even i am in bad situation, i still thank god, thank god give me life in this world and enjoy everyday no matter it good or bad.the happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.the brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past, you can't go on well in life until you let go of your past failures and hearaches. everyday we have, is one more than we deserve. so we have no right to blame.

When I was younger, I blamed God for all my misfortunes. But then I reflected on my life and all my misfortunes, and I realized that it wasn't God's fault. He didn't abandon me. My misfortunes were brought about by me. Except of course the things that were out of my control like bad weather. My reflection made me realize that I shouldn't blame God for anything and instead thank Him for everything.
