My son loves to paint and draw on bond and oslo papers. There are a lot of good drawings he made that I like to keep/preserve. What is the best way to preserve paper so that we can still have it in good condition in the future?

I think the best way you preserve your sons art wort was to frame it so that you can even hang it on walls and let your freind know that it was your sons owm paper works. You can even put up a mini gallery on your own house to showcase all his art works. And not only that he will even have the perseverance of doing a much better paer works. and who knows in the near future he will be one of the best arist you ever have.

I like this idea very much. That way he can see his progress as an artist!

Hi, you can buy an album, you get albums in different sizes and shapes and you can preserve your kids work in them. As far as I am concerned it will be in good condition for many years once you put the papers in side the album, or these days we get files which looks like a book and each sheet has a nice quality plastic cover inside which you can keep them and show that work to your kids friends also without allowing them to take out the papers out.

You can make a scrapbook of all his works. You can also laminate or frame them to preserve. What I'm doing with my photos and artworks is I digitize them and store in compact discs so that when time comes that the materials fade, there will still be a chance that you can take a look at it. Good day!

I'm not a trained artist and don't know the finer points of preserving paper, but I used to lightly spray my charcoal drawings and my childrens' pencil art with hair spray.
