"Number of women professionals has shown a consitant rise over the years not only in the Indian subcontinant but also in rest of the world", says one of my acquantence who belongs to Bangladesh and visits UK quite often; he is an industrialist and moves around on busines. He further adds, "And it can be easily noticed that many of them are better as managers compared men folks". I take this person seriously for various reasons. The question is - whether the women posses some special accumen or they have some inherent charecter which makes them better as managers? In my opinion, they are better in learning things; they also have high degree of adaptibility. They can mold themslves easily and fit into the needs of any situation. What you all say?

I think in a lot of situtions women have had to learn to be good managers with multi tasking, work, kids, house duties. I think men can equal what woman do but in alot of cases they don't really care, they just want a job done as quick and as cheap as possible. I think woman can see a bigger picture so manage better then most men

In my experience no, women aren't better managers. But I am a woman, and it's been shown that female employees do not perform as well under female management. I dunno, all the female managers I've known have been to desperate to be friends with the staff. It does my head in. I've never much liked people who are supposed to be in a posistion of authority trying to be my friend. It always annoyed me with tutors at college too.

Not all women are better managers, well you can find some are good manager and they are doing well some are not. That's depends on the persons personality and capability in handling the position and the attitude towrds it, it not about gender!

women are known to have changeable mind, women are known to be weaker because they depend on men , they need men and that they are useless withou men.. but men forget think that they survived because of women. in any situation it is the women that makes life colorful and challenging, in the workplace it is women that works harder and more sincere, women are the one who are concern on every details in the workplace. therefore women are better manager than men. when a home has a woman it is very livable, when the office has the woman on top it workable. im not a man hater but i want men to know that women are far better as manager than men. a male manager always assign female worker to do the work for her, but a female manager do the job on her own..
