Teachers complain when they know they are working too hard on their students and yet they are not seeing any effort from the students to do good. Correcting papers is not the sole responsibility of teachers, their goal is to see and make their students learn. If the students are not learning and the teachers keep on correcting the same mistakes from their students, then why can't they complain?

I imagine for the same reason parents complain about changing dirty diapers - it may be their job, but it's certainly not the most pleasant aspect! Correcting papers is tedious, and sometimes very difficult. Not nearly as much fun as interactive teaching. Do you like all aspects of your job? Or if you don't have your own job, do you know someone who doesn't like everything about THEIR job? Same thing.

It is their own faults. They shouldn't do that.
