Does anyone else besides me believe that Christians should come together?

We spend so much time scoffing at others and other denominations, that we forget the reason why we are here. To unify the CHURCH and to spred His word. We get so busy in fighting what we believe is right and wrong, we forget what God tells us. Who else thinks that the Church should be reunited, and who else thinks much more significant progress would be made?

I think it would be great if Christians could come together, but only if we are still permitted to believe as we want to believe and worships as we want to worship - without anyone saying that their way is better or someone else's way is wrong. That's the problem with Christians - we all believe in God, but many Christians believe that they are better than other Christians, and that's why we're unable to come together. I would not necessarily want to be joined under one church, because I feel that my right to my way of worshipping would be compromised. Why should we all have to belong to ONE church to be united as Christians, anyway?

Actually, I believe people of all faiths should come together and still be able to believe and worship as they wish, but I was responding to the original question, which was only about the disagreement between the various Christian faiths.

I didnt intend one church to be a uniform way of worshipping and believeing, jsut that we could all worship together and praise together, and yes of any belief, because, yes that is what God intended, I wasnt trying to pride up thie Christian folk, just trying to see if anyone else thinks we can lay aside our disagreements, and just worship how we want when we want believe what we want...together
