Obama is trying to say that McCain is too old by saying that McCain doesn't use computers but McCain's war injuries prevent him from using a keyboard. That has got to be one of the dirtiest ploys yet to try to take advantage of McCain's war injuries that way.

i'm not saying that obama was justified in his so called "attack" but the POTUS is the leader of this country and needs to be on top of things. i'm not saying mccain should be a computer geek but he should at least know how to check his email. i know you may think that's not an important thing but think about it this way. computers are a huge impact on this society and not only but among young people. you cant do anyhting nowadays without a computer or internet. and the fact that he can't use one let alone check his email is just dumb. i mean it's not that hard. why hasn't he taken the time in his 72 years to learn a little something? i'm not so upset about him not knowing as much as i am about him not taking the iniative to learn how to. you have to realize that every little "insignificant" thing that happens with these candidates is a represention of them. and while you may not think it applies to the presidency it applies to their character and i for one don' want a president who isn't willing to take a few minutes out of his day to learn how to use something so important in this country and world

Since McCain can't use a keyboard because of his injuries, it is a much better use of his time to us a phone and to have his staff, who I'm sure are very computer savy, handle what would be very time consuming and perhaps painful for McCain himself to do, for him. Obama was trying to make a sneaky poke at his age which also points out what he thinks about anyone over about 50.

I think you're forgetting the fact that he agrees with Bush 90% of the time? There's a whole lot of a difference between them, their ideas are so different. Different as, say, Republican and Democrat?

Well a lot of people think like this about mccain. But obama shouldnt be putting age into the factor since mccain could be saying hes to young to be president. He has said a lot of bad things about mccain since this campaign which is pretty dumb in my opinion.

If that is the case, that Obama wins, look for your taxes to go up and for the price of food to triple or more.

we can sit here all night and argue about who is worse when it comes to attacks but we all know Obama is going to be the next POTUS

Shouldn't' this be in Politics? Well, I did not know he could not use a keyboard, but if it's true, then it might not benefit him so well! I don't understand why everyone keeps mentioning McCain's past in the war. I think the real decision is about policies and issues and things that need to get done today, right now. The past is important, but not that important.

I'm not in the politics interest group and didn't have time to look for it. Yes McCain's injuries also keep him from raising his arms much higher than chest high and you might have noticed if you watched the convention.

while i admire mccain for his military background and defending our country i have to say that beng a POW doesn't make you qualified to president and serving in the military doesn't necessarily mean you're qualified to be president. also voting 90% with bush definitely doesn't make you qualified to be president.
