I hate to take up the space here for those who were effected by the hurricane but just wanted to send my prayers to those who had any type of loss at all. Those things can really be mean. Ike was headed right towards us earlier on and finally he decided to change course and made his turn up north. I have heard from my brother and my nephew and all of them are good and had no major damage.

Hi LadyM..I live in the UK but have been worried for some of mylotters who could of been affected to by IKE yet haven't known when it hit..I just hope they are all alright...hugs littleowl

Ike hit yesterday. From the reports this morning, the Houston area was hit pretty dang hard. Don't think they mentioned many other areas. What worries me most is the fact that nobody is responding that they are OK. I like to think it is because the electricity is off & they have bigger things to worry about than myLot. I hope to hear from them soon!!! The UK seems blessed with lack of hurricanes!!!

I am not in any area that IKE is, but, we are getting some pretty high winds in OHIO today.. It has caught my attention several times. Blowing the leaves right off the tree. *** I hate naked trees that means Winter is around the Corner***
