Almost named..

My name is Dana Lynn. My dad chose my name. My mom wanted to name me Holly. If I were a boy my name would have been Jason Michael.
My oldest son is Chandler Colin but if he were a girl he would have been Arianna Nicole. My next son is Griffen Walker but he would have been Kennedy Rose.
My daughter is Justice Victoria but had she been a boy...well, her dad wanted to name her Lance and I wanted Xavier. Good thing she was a girl!
My youngest daughter is Millanah Devin. I wanted Millanah Aubrielle but I chose the first name so I gave in for the middle. Her name would have been Talan Merrick if she had been born a boy.
We have had discussions on what are names are and why but I want to know what you were almost named!

My Mom chose my name. She wanted to name me Sonia or Jasmine. She decided on Sonia because it was "unique," at least at that time. Now, every Tom, D1ck, and Harry is called Sonia.:) I would have preferred a nice Indian name. I think it is absurd, living in India and called foreign.

Well my name is marquita and if i were a boy,it would have been mario!Are you serious?Forget about it.As strange as me chosen name is,i'm glad it's mine.

My first name is Kenya, but if my mother wouldn't have doubted me it would have been Kenyatta. My mother always liked that name, but as she thought about it she decided to shorten it to just Kenya because she didn't want me to have problems spelling it when I got to school. Little did she know I would be above average intelligence, and be able to read at age 4. By the time I got to kindergarten I was reading my own books! lol.
