When I'm in a relationship it's not a burden, it's what I live for. Right now, it would be a burden because there are things that I need to do with my life and I can't have silly distractions such as putting someone on a pedestal.

Because when I'm in a relationship, I put everything into it. In my opinion, that's the only way to have a relationship. Right now I have other priorities and I don't expect a significant other to be anything less than 1st on the list. Would you want to be anything less? Aloha!

No,if ur responsible enough in ur relationship,u can't be a burden on anyone.
