Continuing in our saga

My fiance and I are continuing in the saga. We completed the book "The Emigrants" by Vilhelm Moberg, and have now started on "Unto a good land" by the same author. For anyone who enjoys reading, and especially those written maybe fifty some years ago I would recommend this book. For anyone who didn't read my previous discussion the series is on immigration from Sweden to North America (USA) and the trials they faced during the long voyage. The second book right now is focused on the journey from the Coast to Minnesota. The different view points are so enlightening and I know that my fiance and I are both really focused on learning more about a few characters in particular. The Book "The Settlers" in snow en route to us, and we hope to get it soon as the last book came two days after notification of shipment. I am so glad that I started reading this to my fiance, and I know he is really enjoying me reading it to him. Do you like to read? Do you read to people? What type of books do you like to read? Have you ever heard of this series? Would you read it on my recommendation?
