I know internet is the best source in getting information about films, news, and especially music. Set aside the net, where do you get information or some sort? Let's narrowed it down to music. Like me, I still buy magazines especially the one that has free compilation cds. Nothing beats owning a hard copy. Call me old skool but for me that's what matters. The effort and the existence. Currently, I get my music source mostly from thes magazines and these are: 1. Mojo Mag (UK) - music magzine that really provides information about artist from past to present. 2. NME (UK) - shows and predicts who will maek it big or simply whose more sensible of them all. 3. Uncut (UK) - provides in depth analysis of artist from then and now. 4. AP Alternative Press (USA) - shows and focuses on more indie artists in America. They also can predict who will be the next huge band. APpredicted "Fall Out Boy". This mag had been around since early 90's or the late 80's. It catered and helped showcased bands and artists that really matters. My other sources of information regarding music are these 4 mags. I suggest if you are a music lover purchase one of these magazines.

I do the same as you. I read magazines. I love reading magazines and I don't think the internet will ever replace them for me. I haven't really ever heard of the magazines you have mentioned, but they sound interesting. I read family related magazines like Family Circle and Woman's Day. I also really love Popular Mechanics.
