Found this article that was published in October of 2004, right off the heels of the release of the first "Alien vs. Predator", I find it odd that they were already talking of a sixth film when they haven't even started a fifth one yet, but here's a quote: "UK Teletext reports that British director Paul W.S. Anderson ('Alien vs. Predator', 'Resident Evil') is to write the sixth movie in the 'Alien' franchise, according to sources close to the film maker..."
