[b]I am guilty. It's been months when I visited church and heard a mass.I know that my work demands a lot of rest and sometimes if it's my restday,I basically use it to rest.Even if I seldom visit the church I make sure that I say thanks to God and asks for guidance in my day-to-day activities and of course protection to all my loved ones.
Hopefully this coming Sunday I can make up to Him.I will ask my boyfriend to go to church.Though we experience crisis we are still blessed for a lot of things.I believe an hour mass is actually not enough to serve Him but I will make sure that next Sunday my boyfriend and I will attend and hear the mass.He actually asked me to go to church last Sunday but I don't know what happened why we were not able to attend it.
Do you still go to church?or do you just pray at home esp. before you sleep?
Happy mylotting to all,

I wasn't able to go to church anymore. We have to go to the town proper to attend mass and it's a long drive going there. My family and I just say a prayer everyday. We talk to God in our own little way. We thank Him for all the blessings that he has given us. In my own opinion, a personal prayer is more powerful. HUGZ sis pinks.

I'm like you whenever I attend mass. I do stay at the front row, I want to as attentive as I could be specially during homily. I've been busy lately and a little bit emotionally disturbed. I wasn't able to focus on myLot for days now. HUGZ sis. Miss you too.

Actually do that well not just me but neil and I pray before we go to sleep. And if ever we attend mass I make sure that we stay at the first row just infront of the priest.I hate destructions.I am such an obeserver,so I tend to look from side to side and sometimes a certain person can caught my attention so I'd rather stay infront and it's been months since neil and I went to church,be we still pray at night.
Misshu my friend, are you busy with something else lately or was it just me who hasn't opened mylot?Anyway it's good to be back in the circulation.

Sunday is for the Lordl. God has given us 6 days and just asking for one day so we have to worship Him on the day he told us to. Our family worships God every Sunday. We are giving Sunday all for the Lord. We have no other priorities for Sunday but worshipping.
.........
I was glad when they said unto me,
Let us go into the house of the Lord (Psalm 122:1)."

I go to church sometimes, but I haven't been for a while. When my husband got married, his church and my church would not get along, so we ended up eloping, and then having our own ceremony with NO officient, at a later date. I thought that if they were not going to behave, we woudln't include them. I still go sometimes when the mood strikes me, but not quite as often as I used to.

I guess God would understand that. And as long as we don't forget him He would understand.Well I just hope I could go to church again since that's what I promised HIM when I applied for a job..that if I'll be lucky and gets hired I will offer Sundays for Him regardless I am tired or not.tsk.too bad.I broke my promise but I still make it a point to pray at night though.

Yes I do. I am an active member and go to church twice a week. I also pray every night before I sleep. In a way, it helps relieve whatever I'm feeling for the day plus I get to say what is on my mind and ask for favors if I have any. I also make sure to go to church before the last song so that I can pray before the official start.

Wow that's so nice of you.Girl you know how it feels like working in a call center. You know also that when it's your day-off as much as possible you just spend it sleeping..so I am guilty about missing the sunday mass. But hoping that my boyfriend and I will make it a habit to visit the church every Sunday since God gave us 6 days to do whatever we have to do and left Sunday just for Him.

I certainly understand that kelly.I have 3 kids and when me and my ex-husband are still together instead of being at peace inside the church my ex-husband and I ended up fighting over our kids "sometimes" misbehavior esp.if they are still young and don't actually care that much about the priest sermon.Of course we taught them how to behave and when to behave but kids are kids...they love to play.I know God will understand that and just don't forget to say a short prayer at night before you sleep regardless it's a long day or a happy day.

I have not been to church in four and a half years. I loved the church we attended in Indiana, but I can't find one here that is close enough to home and still meets our needs in a church.
Prior to attending my church in Indiana, I had not been to church regularly in years. The reason? I have found that many churches focus too much on fear and fire and brimstone, and not enough on God's love and acceptance and forgiveness. I can't stand a church that teaches people to not be accepting or tolerant.
For me and for my family, we worship God in our own way, and I believe that God understands and accepts this. We are faithful to His teachings to the best of our ability and try to live our life the best we can. Doesn't it say in the Bible something about that wherever two or more people are gathered in God's name, that constitutes worship?
I believe church is a great thing, but it is unnecessary to have a great relationship with God and unnecessary to still live a good Christian life. You're taking time out of your day to be thankful to God - you have not forsaken Him, ignored Him, or pushed Him to the side. I do not think you need to feel guilty.

Actually that's what I always say to myself and to Him that if I was not able to go to church I take time to pray and thank him regardless I had a long day or a happy day.I know God will understand those people who are actually living far away from the church.I guess He would understand also if some people will just pray at home.As long as we remember Him I know He is already happy with that.

The van service in my town doesn't run early enough on Sunday morning. It's too cold to walk to services anymore, as I do when it's warm. I miss attending services and when I move to a better bus route I'll go more regularly to a new church.

it's been a month actually since the last time i went to hear mass. but for me i think god will understand if sometimes we can not just do it, what is important is that our faith in him is still strong and we still say thank you to whatever blessing we have received and we have to talk to him everyday just like talking to a friend not only before going to sleep.
