How's your bestfriend like?

My bestfriend and I don't get to see each other as often as most bestfriends do. In fact, we RARELY see each other....like once in 5 years...She lives in the States now while I'm still here in the Philippines. We get to talk over the phone or by YM once in a while.
The nicest thing about her is that even if we don't get to see each other nor talk to each other much, every time we get the chance to get together, we just simply take off from where we were the last time...as if neither time nor space ever changed the love and the trust we have for each other.
My bestfriend is very witty and funny. There's never a dull moment whenever we're together because there's always a thing or two to laugh about even during our darkest bleakest moments. She's the only one apart from my family who knows everything there is to know about me. We've been friends for the past 20+ years and I'm looking forward to more years of laughtewr with her.

I, too, had friends who've changed over the years. And sometimes it's pretty awkward to go out and find out you've got nothing in common anymore so there's nothing much to talk about either except for the good ol' days.
I guess that's what sets bestfriends apart from everybody else. No matter the distance and no matter how much time you spend apart, the fun and the friendship will always be there.

My bestfriend is the one who always walks beside me even if I'm in my deepest hour... Not the one who like an ant, be together where the sugar is and leave it after the sweet has gone...
